A total of 250 doctor candidates, who started their medical education in the new education period at the Near East University Faculty of Medicine, which has graduated 1,800 doctors so far, wore their white shirts at the ceremony held at the Atatürk Culture and Congress Center Exhibition Hall.

“As Near East University Faculty of Medicine, we would like to thank you, our esteemed students; We aim to train individuals who are well-informed, competent, honest, and committed to both medicine and universal ethical values, equipped with the ability to solve the problems they encounter", Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Gamze Mocan stated.

Dr. Mocan also drew attention to the lifelong learning process in medicine. Prof. Dr. Mocan said, “I am sure all of you; will grow up as highly qualified medical doctors who aim to serve humanity, who are respectful, understanding, and responsible towards their patients, who are rational, creative, questioning, researching, and free-thinking, who have internalized Atatürk's principles and revolutions."

Our Honorable President Ersin Tatar and his esteemed wife were honored at the opening ceremony of our 1st International Student Congress on April 14th, 2022.
