NEAR EAST UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND STUDENT DEAN’S OFFICE WILL HOST THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL STUDENT CONGRESS WITH THE THEME OF “MIGRATION AND HEALTH”

Near East University Faculty of Medicine and Dean of Students is preparing to host the second International Student Congress, which will be held with the theme of “Migration and Health” which will bring together medical students and experts in the field of medicine.

The congress, which will take place between 25-27 April 2024, will be held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center and will include various sessions that will discuss the health effects of the phenomenon of migration from the perspective of medical students. This important event aims to promote knowledge sharing and interaction by bringing together academics, researchers and students specializing in immigration and health care around the world.

The main aim of the congress is to understand the effects of the phenomenon of migration on health systems, public health and the welfare of societies, to share innovations and best practices in this field and to raise the awareness of the next generation of health professionals on this important issue.

Participants will share current research and practical experiences on migration and health through sessions featuring speakers from different disciplines. In addition, oral presentations presented throughout the congress will allow participants to gain a wider perspective and interact.
