Near East University Faculty of Medicine is ready to welcome students for mobility!

Near East University Hospital was built in 2010 on the basis of an affiliated hospital to Faculty of Medicine hospital provides 36 departments using the modern technology equipment at standards that exceed those found in many of the other countries.

Near East University Hospital, located on the Near East University Campus in Nicosia with 55,000 square meters of closed space, is comprised of three blocks with three, four, and nine stories respectively, and provides health services through 209 individual patients’ room (22 being VIP rooms), 8 operating theatres, 30 intensive care units, and 17 newborn intensive care units.

We offer high-quality polyclinic services along with analytical laboratories that allow all health-related tests to be performed, a Radiology Centre with the latest and most advanced imaging devices for diagnosis, a Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy Centre specifically designed for diagnosing and treating cancer cases, and 84 completely digitized physician examination rooms.

Founded on international standards the hospital provides services for patients’ medical and other needs in line with these standards and criteria.

       General Information for the incoming students

  • Those who want to study at our university as visiting students can apply to the Dean’s office ([email protected]) by sending the application form. Please see below.

 

  • Guest students can choose internships deemed appropriate by the department/s  concerned and the Dean’s Office.

 

  • Guest students are not awarded diplomas or degrees, but when their training/education ends, they receive a letter of confirmation showing the training/education period.

 

  • Guest students are responsible for taking out their travel, accommodation expenses, and health insurance.
